ExtremePlanner Eclipse Plug-in

The ExtremePlanner Eclipse Plugin is now available free to ExtremePlanner customers.

Requirements

• ExtremePlanner 3.0 or higher installed (or a hosted account at XPLive)
• Eclipse 3.1.1 or higher

Installation Instructions

• Extract the ZIP archive into your Eclipse "plugins" directory (should create an "epplugin_XXX" subdirectory)
• Restart your Eclipse IDE, and open the Preferences panel to configure the ExtremePlanner settings.

Preferences page for the plug-in. Here you'll need to enter the base URL of your ExtremePlanner server, including the port number. You'll also enter your user login and password.

The main task list is available from Eclipse when you select "Show View --> Other --> ExtremePlanner --> ExtremePlanner: My Tasks" from the Eclipse Window menu. This view shows all active tasks assigned to your user account. You can update the estimated and completed hours, and change the status of the task from here.
